I just found your podcast and am listening to the first 10 episodes. With this episode, I remembered a book I found fascinating as a teen, “Tryst,” by Elswyth Thane. A young woman moves to a new home with her family and discovers her room is haunted by a mysterious and romantic young man who died many years prior. It certainly predated the recent batch of paranormal romance novels.

I came across your podcast on why people read Paranormal Romance. I found it quite enjoyable. I am an author, and I write young adult, paranormal romance novels. My debut novel, Transition, The Chimera Hunters Series just recently came out. I believe I am guilty in this first novel for not following the “dark theme”.
